"Batter Up!," written by James A. Humphrey, was announced by Los Angeles CineFest as a Semi-Finalist in its feature length screenplay category today. The script is a coming of age story about Jason Maclain who must choose to use - or not use - a magical pitch to defeat his team's bully and bring baseball's order to the chaos of his own life. CineFest will announce winners in January.
