Queen Palm International Film Festival nominated "Batter Up!," by Humphrey Edwards Film's James A. Humphrey, as "Best Concept" finalist in its Nov./Dec. feature length film screenplay competition. “Batter Up” is a coming of age story about Jason Maclain who must choose to use - or not use - a magical pitch to defeat his team’s bully and bring baseball’s order to the chaos of his own life. The winner of the Nov./Dec. competition will be announce by early January and will compete with the festivals other bi-monthly winners for its annual "Best Screenplay" awards.
